  • Handmade Pledge -Christmas Bazaar

After the success of our first exhibition, we took part in Christmas Bazaar held again at Mothertree  in Indira Nagar, Bangalore. The response we got from our first exhibition encouraged us to have a second show in less than a month’s time.

This time we introduced the famous Lucknawi Chikankari fabrics and stitched garments for both men and women. This proved to be a great crowd puller for us, especially for women.

Apart from Lucknawi Chikan we even had paintings of rock bands, our very popular comic strips, abstract art; earthenware, key chains and batuas.

This bazaar proved to be very lucky for us as we met many new people and received loads of accolades and orders for our work. After this exhibition we were encouraged to increase our product range in earthen ware.

We sold quite a few cartoon and comic strips of Calvin n Hobbes, Garfield, The Simpsons and our dear Chacha Choudhary. Our experiment with rock band paintings and caricatures proved to be successful as we sold out all of them. These included Pink Floyd, Mark Knopfler, DMB, Led Zeppelin and the kinds.

Orban art and earthenware too received a warm reception from our customers. Earthenware included garden decorations, wall hangings, masks, and lucky mascot tortoise in different sizes. Our earthenware range included Sun and Moon God faces, the combo which is considered to be a sign of prosperity and luck.

Our paintings of Kokopelli, the god of fertility and prosperity, were appreciated and considered as a great gifting idea.
